AHMEDABAD: Officials of the India Post has announced sale of gold
coins during the festive occasions of Gurupushya
Nakshatra and Dhanteras. The postal authorities claimed that the gold coins
shall be of 99.9% purity and will be available in denominations of 0.5 gm, one
gm, five gm, 10 gm, 20 gm and 50 gm. The gold coins are certified by the World
Gold Council, Switzerland.
Not just that, the India Post is also offering discounts between 5 and 7% on
purchase of gold from November 19 to 30. The coins will be available across 66
post offices in the state. "The post offices will function till late hours to
meet the heavy rush of buyers during Gurupushya Nakshatra on October 20 and
Dhanteras on October 24. tnn
Apart from the rebates introduced, India Post has also announced a 'Slogan
Festival.' Buyers can participate in this contest and 100 winners will receive 5
gm gold coins.
