New Delhi, Nov 24 (PTI) The Department of Post will declare the names of
students selected as winners of a painting competition and quiz at the closing
ceremony of the "Aravali-A Series of Stamps" philatelic exhibition
tomorrow.
The Delhi Postal circle organised different activities, like a
''design a cover'' painting competition on the theme, ''100 Years of Delhi'',
and a quiz competition, during the exhibition.
Children from around 50
schools are estimated to have participated in the event, said an official
statement.
The two-day district-level philatelic exhibition was inaugurated
here by Delhi Area General Officer Commanding Lt General V K Pillai in the
presence of Chief Postmaster General Rameshwari Handa of Delhi Circle.
