Guwahati, Nov 18 (PTI) Assam postal circle will organise the 26th All India
Postal badminton tournament from November 23. The tournament, to be played at
Sports Authority of India (SAI) complex, will be played till November 27, an
Assam postal circle press release said here today. The tournament, which is an
annual event, will feature 22 postal circles teams both in the individual and
team events. With the last tournament being held in Shillong, the host team
boasting of some of the good players had won the men's team event, doubles and
was runner-up in the women's team event and women's singles event. The team
consists of some of the international players like Kristi Das who has
represented the country in events in Indonesia and Thailand, the release said.
