The following Postal/Sorting Assistants declared qualified vide
this office Memo No RE/30-6/2012, dated 11-01-13 for promotion to the cadre of
Inspector of Posts (Group-B Non-Gazetted Ministrial) in the scale of Pay Rs.
9300-34800 (Pay Band-2) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- with usual allowances as
admissible from time to time are hereby allotted to the Regions as noted
against each with immediate effect under following terms and conditions.

The officials so promoted will be on probation for a period of two years from
the date of assumption of charge. They will be imparted induction training at
PTC and field training in due course. They may exercise their option choosing
the date of fixation of pay under FR 22(1)(a)(1) within a month from date of
assumption of charge.
The concerned Divisional Heads should ensure that no disciplinary / vigilance
case is pending or any punishment current against the officials before
their relief on promotion. If any of the official is now officiating in higher
cadre, he may be first reverted to his parent cadre before giving effect
to this order.
Posting orders may be issued by concerned Region.
Relevant charge reports may be sent to all concerned in due course.
