Deep
Depression over North Andaman Sea: Cyclone Alert-Three for Odisha Coast:
The deep depression over North Andaman Sea moved west-northwestwards
 and crossed  Andaman Islands near Mayabandar between 1230 and 1330 hrs
 IST and lay centred at 1430 hrs IST of today, 09th October 2013 over east 
central Bay of Bengal near latitude 13.50N and longitude 92.50E, and about 
950km southeast of Paradip. The system would intensify into a cyclonic storm
 during next 12 hours and continue to move west-northwestwards for some 
time and then northwestwards and cross north Andhra Pradesh and Odisha 
coast between Kalingapatnam and Paradip by night of 12th October, 2013 
as a very severe cyclonic  storm with a maximum sustained wind speed of
175-185 kmph. 
 
Forecast :   Rain/Thundershower would occur at  a many places over  Odisha during next 24 hours. 
Heavy R/F Warning:  Heavy rainfall
would occur at one or two places over Odisha during next 24hours. 
Advice for hoisting Storm Warning
Signals:
Distant Cautionary Signal Number One (DC-I) kept hoisted at Paradip
and Gopalpur ports in Odisha 
Likely impacts and
actions:    Squally weather will prevail along and off Odisha
Coast after 24 hours.
Fishermen
Warning  :-   Fishermen who are in the
deep sea are advised to return to the coast immediately. .Sea will be rough to
very rough after 12 hours.
