Dear Comrades,

TO develop passion for letter writing among the youth, the
Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) will hold a nationwide Letter Writing

In Cebu, the celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. at SM Consolacion. Participating students will write their “Salamat Po” letters and get a short orientation on the proper way of addressing their letters and affixing the stamps.
Meanwhile, the PHLPost, in partnership with the Department of Education, has come up with two projects this year: the 2013 National Letter Writing Project with the theme “Salamat Po” and the 43rd Universal Postal Union International Letter Writing competition with the theme “Write a letter describing how music can touch lives.”

One winner per province will receive P3,000 cash prize and P3,000
for the school of the winner. The Visayas grand draw winner will bring
home P30,000 cash and P30,000 worth of computer package for the school.
The regional draw will be on Nov. 8 and the grand draw is on January
2014.
