Chandigarh: The Department of Posts will release a special
commemorative stamp on Sachin Tendulkar on November 14, the day the
cricket icon will begin playing his 200th and last Test at Wankhede
Stadium, Mumbai.
Communication and IT Minister Kapil Sibal said, normally stamps are not issued in honour of living personalities, but the department is making an exception for the second time. It had made a similar exception for Mother Teresa on August 27, 1980.
