Sub: Conducting of Limited Departmental Competitive
examination for promotion to the cadre of Inspector of Posts (66.66%)
Departmental quota for the year 2015-16.
I
am directed to intimate that the dates of above IP
examination has been revised from 15th & 16th
October, 2016 to 22nd & 23rd October, 2016
Vide Directorate letter No. A-34012/09/2016-DE dated 09.09.2016 & the
timings of the examination will remain same. The revised Annexure-II is sent
herewith for information, guidance & necessary action which should be
brought to the notice of all concerned & the time schedule should also be
strictly adhered to. Further, Para 6 of the Directorate notification No.
A-34012/09/2016-DE dated 05.09.2016
relating to age & Service eligibility condition for APS candidates
has also been amended vide above Directorate letter. The Officials serving in APS may be granted
age relaxation of 5 years for appearing in the Inspector Post LDC examination as
already communicated vide letter No. 7-14/2009-SPB-II dated 09.09.2015.
