Sub: Action to be taken to fill up the vacancies
on the basis of latest recruitment rules
– 2010 for Postman and Mailguard for the year 2011 & 2012.
Kindly refer to this office
letter no.RE/30-22/2011, dtd.15.5.2012 regarding vacancies in Postman /
Mailguard cadre pertaining to the year 2011. After allotment of vacancies under
Sports Quota and compassionate appointment quota and submission of revised
vacancies of Mayurbhanj Division, the vacancies for 2011 as intimated earlier
has been revised.
Now, the revised vacancy
position of Postman/Mailguard for 2011 and vacancy position for 2012 based on the inputs provided by your unit is
attached. Distribution of vacancies under sports quota, CRC quota, PH category
and Ex-Serviceman quota has been done in respect of direct recruitment quota
vacancies according to the fixed
percentage. The vacancies under CRC quota and Sports quota are to be filled up
at Circle office level.
You may kindly circulate the vacancies among all
concerned immediately. Instructions from Directorate is awaited for filling up
of vacancies earmarked to be filled up through recruitment examination.
The date for holding DPC for
filling up of 25% of vacancies through promotion by selection-cum-seniority
from MTS for 2012 and also for 2011 (unfilled vacancies under
same category) is being intimated separately. You are requested to remain in
readiness with required information for
holding the DPC shortly.
