The Empowered Committee of Secretaries headed by P K Sinha held a meeting on Tuesday in which it has recommended 30 per cent more than the basic salary proposed by the pay panel in its November report.
The approval is expected after the Finance Ministry will prepare a note and present it before the Cabinet in the next 15 days.
