The joint divisional working committee meeting of AIPEU Group-C and Postmen & MTS has been conducted successfully at Jeypore(K) H.O. on 7th Aug 2016 in presence of a grand gathering comprising of hundreds of comrades from all corners of undivided Koraput District. The meeting was presided by Com. A Uma Maheswar, President, AIPEU Group-C. Com. Purna Chandra Maharana, Divisional Secretary, Group-C along with Com. Nilamabar Nayak, Divisional Secretary, Postmen & MTS conducted the meeting in a very well organised manner. Agenda items such as implementation of 7th pay commission, deferment of 11th July 2016 strike by NJCA, referral of fitment factor, minimum pay revision and allowances to high level committee, proposed one day indefinite strike called by all central trade unions on 2.9.2016, cadre restructuring and preparation for ensuing bi-ennial divisional conference were discussed minutely. Problems of all members and solutions thereof were also discussed thoroughly. A good no. of comrades interacted constructively. Com. Bisikeshan Mahalik, Asst. Circle Secretary, Gr-C, Com. Pravat Mahapatra, Org. Circle Secretary, Postmen & MTS, Com. Laxman Ratnalu, President, Postmen & MTS, Com. Amiya Ranjan Maharana, Treasurer, Gr-C and Com. Bhuban Gouda, Treasurer also highlighted various issues related to Agenda items. The meeting was ended with thanks from the president, Group-C.
