Dear Comrades,
Today the Joint Divisional Working Committee Meeting as called vide AIPEU Class-III, AIPEU Postmen & Group-D, AIPEDEU joint notice No.AIPEU/DWC/01/10-12 dated 02.07.2010 successfully held at Jeypore(K) HO. The meeting started off at 11.00 hours with a grand presence of approximately 150 active members of three unions. Senior Comrade J C Choudhury presided over the meeting and conducted it very smoothly.
Com. Purna Chandra Maharana, Divisional Secretary alongwith Com. Rajesh Rayapalli, Assistant Circle Secretary were on dias with Com. B P Mishra, Treasurer, AIPEU Cl-III and Com. P Suresh Kumar, Ex-Divisional Secretary.
Com. L Bissoi, President, Com. Nilambar Naik, Divisional Secretary alongwith Com. Dasmant Gond, Treasurer were also on dias from AIPEU Postmen/MSE & Group-D.
Com. J Kar, President & Com. Rajendra Prasad Sahu, Divisional Secretary were also on the dias representing AIPEDEU.
Apart from the postal members a good number of RMS staff were also participated in the said meeting and supported the strike with full heart.

At the very first outset, President and all the members paid homage to the departed souls of our Division with two minutes silent prayer.
Then after the agenda was discussed thoroughly step by step for all the three unions amongst all members. Various issues were discussed in the august house and effective solutions were discussed to sort out emerging and pending problems of employees of this Division. One of the highlight agenda item related to indefinite Strike call given by the NFPE CHQ, New Delhi to be held from 13th July, 2010 onwards was also discussed very comprehensively. The doubts raised by few members on the holding of strike were also clarified. At the end of the meeting a final decision was taken unanimously and collectively by all the members of the three unions to conduct the indefinite strike w.e.f 13th July onwards without fail. The strike will definitely be happen in our Division, if there is no call off declaration is made by the CHQ, New Delhi before 13th July. We sincerely thank to all the members who attended the meeting from all the corners of this Division even though in such a bad weather.
The office bearers of NFPE and it's affiliated unions have been invited by the Department to hold a discussion on strike on 12.07.2010 at New Delhi. If there is no positive result comes out of the discussion, then the strike will not be called off. But in the meanwhile we should not stop ourselves from thinking about strike, rather we must continue mobilising the importance of this indefinte strike to all the employees of our Division widely.
We, therefore, request to all members not to be biased by any other thought or do not think to remain away out of fear. If we want to survive in future with self-respect, then we have no other option except strike. So, let us remain united and ready for the struggle.
Let us make the department standstill during the indefinite strike, so that the high level officers will be bound to fulfill our demands.
