Dear Comrades,

Marking the celebrations, on August 15, an exhibition will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan in the central court hall.

The exhibition, to remain open till August 16, will display important artifacts, documents and articles of historical significance.

On August 18, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would preside over the last day of celebrations at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) in south Mumbai.

The other dignitaries who would grace the occasion include Maharashtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid.
