Dear Comrades,
As per the direction of AIPEDEU, CHQ, New Delhi the AIPEDEU, Koraput Divisional Branch observed one day hunger fast in the Divisional Headquarter in front of the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Koraput Division, Jeypore(K). All the Office bearers participated in the said fast and raised their voices against administration and government to fulfill their demands. A memorandum containing all the demands of the GDS employees was submitted to the SSPOs for necessary action. Com. Purna Chandra Maharana, Com. P Suresh Kumar, Com. Nilambar Naik and many comrades representing AIPEU Group-C and AIPEU Postmen/MTS & Gr-D supported GDS employees and extended their full co-operation. Shri Satyabadi Sahu, SSPOs, Koraput Division also came to the spot and had a detail discussion over our demands and assured us to forward the same to the higher authorities for further necessary action. Todays hunger fast was successful. I thank all the comrades who came from distance places and participated in our movement and struggle to get bright future of all GDS employees.
