n awareness campaign on Rural Postal Life Insurance (RPLI) for the local
people of Jotsoma village was conducted Tuesday at Jotsoma Village
Council, organized by department of Post: India, Nagaland Division.
Speaking on awareness postal services, director postal services, Nagaland Som Kamei said though the insurance was introduced in 1995, it was not being able to reach out to the needy.
He said with all the success stories proved all these years, the company will provide the best of services to the Jotsoma Villages.
Kamei said that insurance was the only company that desires for longevity of the insurers and encouraged the villagers to be a part of the company by ensuring their life by converting their dreams into reality.
Kobounuo Z Dolf, who delivered introduction on PLI/RPLI, briefed on the various policies under PLL/RPLI.
He also informed the department’s plan to implement RPLI in every household in the village.

In his address, Jotsoma village council chairman said rich and educate people were insured in one way or the other, however, he said villagers were barely aware of the insurance.
He said to do anything, money was needed yet again he urged the villagers to be careful with fraudsters and informed to collect detail information from the department.
He also appealed to all help each other and benefit from each other. Dreamz unlimited performed play on PLI/RPLI while Kenie Nagi and friends presented special song.
