Sub: Arrangement for sale of Protective cover for Rakhi envelope through identified post offices.

   I am directed to intimate that the competent authority has accepted the proposal for selling of Protective cover for Rakhi envelope at identified post offices in Odisha Circle.

            The cost of each Protective cover for Rakhi envelope to be sold through identified post offices is Rs.5/-per piece. The Department will retain Rs.1.50 paisa per piece to be deposited under Retail Post, Rs.0.50 paisa per piece will be paid as commission to the counter P.A. or other official who will sell the same and Rs.3/- per piece to be remitted to the Sr. Postmaster, Bhubaneswar GPO through service money order under intimation to this office. The sale of the same will continue till25.08.2016. The unsold cover will be send to the undersigned by 07.09.2016 failing which it will be presumed that all the protective covers are sold and the amount will be realized from concerned divisions.

            The Sr. Postmaster, Bhubaneswar GPO will act as the Nodal Officer for settlement of accounts and charge the consolidated amount  received from the identified offices as a one time major basing on the information received from the identified offices in Odisha under UCR and submit the final report on 06.09.2016. 

           

         It is further requested to display Poster about availability of Rakhi Envelopes at prominent places of your office where the public can be able to know the availability of same.

          While selling of the Protective cover the customer be explained for proper use of the same. The detail address portion of the Rakhi envelope be kept visible inside the cover for booking and dispatch of the Rakhi envelope.

           The counter P.A. after booking of the Rakhi envelope will put the same into the Protective cover and the Barcode of SP/RP may be fixed on the front side of the cover and the MPCM receipt be fixed on the backside of the protective cover.
