Divisional Secretary requested to Circle Secy. to take necessary action at Circle Level for postponement of all Official Meetings/Trainings: Communication made by Circle Secretary

Dear Comrades,

Com. Purna Chandra Maharana, Divisional Secretary, AIPEU Group-C requested to Com. R C Mishra, Circle Secretary, Group-C, Odisha Circle to take necessary action at circle level to postpone all official meetings/training etc. which are being scheduled to be held during the ensuing strike period and Com. Mishra wrote to the CPMG, Odisha Circle for the same. The letter is reproduced hereunder:-

Sub- Request for shifting of date of H & N training for System Managers of Berhampur Region to any date after 21st February-2013 due to All India Strike on 20-02-2013 & 21-02-2013.

Respected Sir,

It is observed from above letter that Circle Office has issued order for attendance of System Managers of Berhampur Region in CTTC, KIIT Campus, Bhubaneswar for above Training programme ,scheduled to be held from 18-02-2013. We have nothing to say about imparting of training programmes of the staff and we always welcome such training programmes. But, we are compelled to draw the kind attention that Central Postal JCA has served strike notice to D.G. Posts & Circle Postal JCA has also served the strike notice to CPMG Odisha circle on 22-01-2013 to go on to strike on 20-02-2013 & 21-02-2013. So, it is quite dismay that when all staff are going to join the strike, the training programme has been fixed just before two days i.e. from 18-02-2013. In the circumstances, we apprehend the fruitfulness of training programme and thereby causing total resentment of staff out of that.

Therefore, it is requested for shifting of the date of afore-said training to any other date, beyond the strike dates for total participation of system managers and also to avoid strong resentment of staff of the divisions.
