The SSPOs, Koraput Division, Jeypore(K) vide Memo No.B/G-1/Rectt/Gen-2010 dated 10.08.2010 has issued an advertisement calling for applications from the intending eligible GDS officials of Koraput Division for the direct recruitment to the cadre of PA to fill up the unfilled vacancies under promotional quota for the year 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009 for a total of 19 (Nineteen) Posts.

Applications from the intending eligible GDS of Koraput Division in the format prescribed for the outsider candidates for direct recruitment are invited for recruitment to the cadre of Postal Assistant to fill up the unfilled vacancies under promotional quota for the year 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009 as detailed below:-
OC = 10, SC = 06, ST = 03, Total = 19.
Eligibility Criteria:-
2. Minimum Educational Qualification :- 10+2 Standard (Senior Secondary) excluding vocational stream.
3. Minimum Service:- The candidate should have put in a minimum service of 3 (Three) years as on 30.08.2010, the last date of submission of application.
4. Age:- The candidate should be within 28 years of age (33 years for SC/ST, 38 years for PH and 31 years for OBC) as on 30.08.2010, the last date of submission of application.
5. General Instructions:- Printed application form/prospectus can be obtained from all the Head Post Offices and Important Sub Post Offices on payment of Rs.25/- (Rupees Twenty Five) only in cash at the concerned Post Office counter.
ii) Applications duly completed alongwith attested copies of educational certificates/ mark sheets/ memo of appointment as GDS should be sent by Registered Post or Speed Post on or before last date fixed for receipt of applications i.e. 30.08.2010.
iii) Applications sent by other means or received after due date shall be summarily rejected and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
