Sub: Rakhi Envelopes retailing through POs on Sale or Return basis:-Regarding

A copy of the Directorate letter above on the
subject is sent herewith for information, guidance and further necessary
action. Due to discrepancy in settlement of account on disposal of Rakhi
Envelopes of last year, it is decided to receive Rakhi Envelopes centrally at
CSD point and to distribute same to HOs keeping in view their sale performance
of the last year.
It is to
intimate that indent for Rakhi Envelopes-2013 for Odisha Postal Circle has been
placed with M/s. Narasingh Dass & CO Pvt.Ltd., E-3/16, Balaram House,
Daryaganj, New Delhi-110002. The Supdt CSD Bhubaneswar will receive the Rakhi
Envelopes from the vendor and distribute the same to different HOs as per the
list which has been prepared basing on the sale potential of each HOs last
year.
The
instructions contained in the Directorate letter be communicated to all
HOs/MDGs for information and guidance. However, the HOs be instructed to sell
Rakhi Envelopes upto 31.08.2013. Thereafter sale will be discontinued and one
consolidated report be prepared HO wise in the enclosed format in Triplicate.
After
closure of period of sale of Rakhi Envelope by 31.08.2013 all unsold Rakhi
Envelopes as per col-4 of the report will be returned to CSD, Bhubaneswar-7
along with a copy of the above mentioned report latest by 15.09.2013
positively.
CSD
Bhubaneswar on receipt of unsold Rakhi Envelopes from all HOs(to whom supplied)
will consolidate the same and return all the unold Rakhi envelopes in one lot
to the vendor “M/s. Narasingh Das & Co(P) Ltd, E-3/16, Balaram House,
Daryaganj, New Delhi-110002 latest by 20.09.2013 by endorsing copy to Circle
Office for information.
HOs
will submit one copy of report to BD section, C.O after closure of sale period
of Rakhi Envelopes latest by 15.09.2013. Payment to the vendor will be made by
Circle Officein lumsum basing on the information received from reprt of each
HOs. Hence the HOs should not remit the amount payable to the vendor.
All concerned
should ensure proper record of Rakhi envelopes at all stages and to follow the
guidelines properly.
