Sub: Partial Modification-Conducting a workshop for
Direct Agents/Sales force-Reg.
It was decided by C.O vide its letter No. LI/1-10/2012 dated
30-09-2013 to conduct a workshop for Direct
Agents/Sales force in Berhampur under the active supervision of SSPOs,
Berhampur on 19-10-2013. Due to the devastating Cyclone and continued rain the
workshop could not be conducted on the stipulated date and it was postponed.
I am directed to intimate that a workshop for Direct Agents
and other Sales force including GDS/DEs is now proposed to be held on
16.11.2013(Saturday) at 10.30 am in Berhampur under active supervision of
SSPOs, Berhampur Division. The venue is being intimated. The PMG, Berhampur
Region will inaugurate the workshop. The Chief PMG(O) may like to chair the
function.

Course content of workshop
1. Marketing business plan for PLI & RPLI in
the context of “India Post Project-2012”
2. Discussion on after sales services in PLI/RPLI
as an alternative to business strategy.
3. Training inputs for sales force/DAs and MIU as a
marketing tool. How they can add contribution to business.
4. Marketing action plan of PLI/RPLI for the
current year 2013-14 by Divisional Heads and Present problem faced &
solution in PLI/RPLI to boost business.
5. PLI/RPLI quiz/Prize distribution and strategic
action plan for 2013-14 by divisional Heads.
The
Divisional Heads under Berhampur Region will come prepared with up-to-date
business action plan for 2013-14. The SSPOs, Berhampur Division and ADM
(PLI/RPLI), RO Berhampur will make all necessary sitting/accommodation arrangement
for the purpose of workshop. Wide publicity may be given to all above Agents/
Sales force in advance. The Departmental staff/ GDS who are likely to retire
within two years need not be sponsored. The GDS who will be attending the
Workshop will be treated as on duty and will provide suitable substitution in
their place. The requisite Bus fares etc. to Direct Agents/GDSs will be borne
by the concerned Divisional Heads from Plan Fund.

Workshop immediately for perusal of PMG.
