Keeping in view of the geographical conditions of Koraput Postal Division and increasing naxal activities throughout in the undivided Koraput District, a detailed discussion was held between Com. Purna Chandra Maharana, Divisional Secretary and Com. Ramesh Mishra, Circle Secy. & Com. K V Sridharan, General Secretary, CHQ. Thereafter a detailed proposal was submitted to Circle Secy. and General Secy.
In reply to the effort made by Com. Maharana and Com. Mishra our beloved Comrade KVS, General Secretary initiated a step in this regard and has wrote to the Secretary (Posts) to take action to issue necessary orders to grant tribal allowances to the officials working in such areas of Koraput Postal Division. We thank him for his timely effort and request himto take up the rest of items i.e. naxal prone area allowances to each and every official working in Koraput Postal Division. Also we hope that our GS will put his best effort to make dept. to issue orders in favour of employees of Koraput Postal Division for the said allowances.
