special discount of 7 per cent on the price of all gold coins sold
through Post office on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, which falls on
the May 13.
The offer is valid for a period up to June 30, 2013. Gold coins are available with India Post Logo in tamperproof packaging along with certification by internationally recognised Assayers in the denominations of 0.5 g, 1 g, 5 g, 8 g, 10 g, 20 g and 50 g of 24 carat with 99.99% purity. India Post retails gold coins in association with World Gold Council and Reliance Money Infrastructure Limited. Coins are manufactured by the world renowned Valcambi SA, Switzerland.
Gold coins are sold through select 60 post offices in all the districts except Malappuram and Kasargod.
