Sub: Holding of one RPLI Mela at Jeypore on 17.8.2013 (Sat) – Regarding .
In pursuant to Chief Postmaster
General, Odisha Circle, Bhubaneswar Letter No.LI/Misc-2/09-10 Ch.IV dated 23.7.13
forwarded vide Postmaster General, Berhampur Region Letter No.RLI/272-31/2007
dated 29.7.13, it has been decided to hold one RPLI Mela on 17th Aug
2013 at Jeypore. The meeting will start sharp at 1000 hours and will continue
upto 1700 hours. A target of 3000 RPLI proposals has been allotted to this
Division.
The following Departmental
officers/officials and all GDSBPMs/ GDS officials having RPLI code of Koraput
Division will attend the said meeting in time without fail.

SDI(P)s, Jeypore(K) / Malkangiri / Nabarangpur / Gunupur / Rayagada / Umerkote/ All Branch-Postmasters in Koraput Division /
B.E., Jeypore / All PLI / RPLI Direct Agents in Koraput Division
All the Sub Divisional Heads are
requested to issue strict instructions to the BOs under their jurisdiction to
procure and bring at least (10) Ten nos.of RPLI proposals including at least one High value (3 Lakh to 5
Lakh) policy alongwith with RPLI receipts at any cost to the venue of Mela. Also they
may be instructed to contact the Insurants earlier for revival of 5 nos. lapsed
RPLI policies with amount due being collected by them.
All the Rural SPMs will make all out
effort and ensure cent percent achievement of the target assigned to each BOs
under their jurisdiction at any cost.
All the Branch Postmasters will have
to procure atleast Ten (10) nos. of RPLI proposals with a minimum of one high
value policy. Lunch arrangement has been made for all participants. The actual
Bus fare will be paid to the GDS officials/Agents on attending the said Mela.
Prize will be awarded to three BPMs who will procure highest premium. All the
Direct Agents will procure atleast twenty RPLI proposals and bring to the venue
with receipt.
The ASPOs (Hqr) will please ensure all
the arrangement for conducting the RPLI Mela smoothly.
