PUNE: The railways have started a passenger reservation facility at the Rajgurunagar
post office. The facility at the 'India Post PRS centre' will be open from 8
am to 2 pm on all days. All types of railway tickets for all classes, including
concessions and military vouchers, can be booked at the centre.
Passengers
will have to pay a service charge per ticket. The service charge will be Rs 15
for second class sleeper and second class sitting reservations, Rs 20 for
three-tier AC and AC chair car reservations and Rs 30 for two-tier AC and first
class reservations. A charge of Rs 10 will be levied for cancellation of tickets
of all classes, according to a railway press release.
